La Maruca és un projecte format pel pianista i compositor Llorenç Colomar, i per la cantant Paulina Barbi, al qual se sumen els músics Sergio Mesa i Roger Calduch i el reconegut saxofonista Jon Robles.

En aquesta ocasió es reflexiona sobre què és l'amor fent tribut a grans temes versionats per artistes com Mayte Martín, Lucrecia, Tete Montoliu, Els Panchos, Luis Miguel, i Ana Belén. Amb "Adoro", "Dos Gardenias", "Cóncavo y Convexo" aquest quintet buscarà arribar al cor de l'espectador apel·lant al record individual que amaguen els boleros: per alguns és l'amor; per a d'altres, el desamor; per a tothom, els boleros posen en evidència el paper que juga l'ego en la composició i la seva interpretació.
